Lightweight electrostatic discharge Simulator (ESD) running on a AA battery. The ESD3000 is a portable, battery-powered, user-friendly ESD simulator. Due to its lightweight and ergonomic design, the generator is easy to hold and run. The device is modular in design with a wide range of RC modules to meet the latest commercial, automotive, military, avionics, and component test equipment. Each RC module is carefully designed to meet the component values, and waveform definitions according to standards.
The ESD Gun is not fixed to the base unit, so there are no restrictions on its operating range. The battery is a rechargeable AA battery, that powers the gun for 8 hours with continuous testing at 30kV. The gadget can also operate without mains power while the battery is charging.
